Jonathan is just beginning his graduate career at OSU. A desire to use science as an effective tool to inform the public and policy makers about impacts we are having on ecosystems was the impetus for Jonathan to pursue a graduate degree. Current research topics include: ecosystem recovery with the removal of cattle from a system, and monitoring techniques to detect effects of climate change here in the Pacific Northwest. When not at school, Jonathan may be found enjoying a moment of solitude atop a snow covered mountain, playing an overly complex board game, or working on a song for his next black metal album.
